Star Letter For Sept:
Dear answerstolove
I just wanted to say thank you for all your helpful advice about relationships. For the last 2 years me and my boyfriend have been arguing a lot and no matter how hard I tried, I always seemed to be in the wrong. Then I used your email service and just one email has changed our life.
Now I know people will probably read this and think its not that easy but thats why I want to share what one of your coaches told me.
She said in her email that I needed to take responsibility for what was going wrong because the only persons life you can change is your own. If you try and change your partners it won't work. So I set about looking at how I reacted to things he said but I also looked at why he said them and instead of reacting, I took time to reflect and when we actually spoke without shouting, I found out just how much pressure he was feeling with work and money but I never took notice.
My coach said that people will always have a reason for the way they behave so find out the cause and then you can start to move forwards...and we did.
Thank you - K. Mason - Warwickshire
